She is survived by her husband, Nick (FL); her son, Troy (FL); her mother, Linda (PA); and her brothers, Justin and Billy (PA).
Teresa began her distinguished Army career immediately after graduating high school, serving as a broadcast journalist. With an unshakable commitment to telling the Army story, she deployed in support of combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, became a cornerstone of the legendary 82nd Airborne Division, worked alongside operators in the joint special operations community, and left her mark on countless units within the military public affairs world. Teresa was more than a leader—she was a mentor, a trailblazer, and a standard-bearer whose influence will be felt for generations of military storytellers.
Of all her accomplishments, Teresa’s greatest pride and joy was her son, Troy. She was not only his mother but his best friend, spending countless hours creating memories together. Her love for him knew no bounds, and she moved heaven and earth to support and protect him.
Teresa lived life with spirit and curiosity, always ready for her next adventure. She loved exploring new countries, surrounding herself with flowers and plants, cherishing time with her close-knit “tribe,” and filling her world with the color pink and amazing outfits. She found joy in creating operational boards, crafting color-coded lists, and making those around her laugh with her sharp wit and vibrant personality. She was full of life, fiercely loyal, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to honor Teresa’s life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Life Center, 3154 Green Valley Rd., Ijamsville, MD 21754.
