Thelma C. Slater, 93, of Seffner passed away, January 3, 2012 at her residence. A native of Columbia, Michigan she had lived in the Tampa area since 1950 coming from Walkerton, Indiana. She mananged the Tampa Board of Realtors, Brandon Branch and Loved traveling to the Tennessee Mountains. She was of the Baptist Faith. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Vern and her daughter Thelma Laverne Wallace. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Yancey of Seffner, Sister, Marjorie Hart of Valrico, four Grandchildren,Ten Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012, 10:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Florida. The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, FL.
