

Reeves, Theodore Roosevelt “T.R.”, 88, formerly of Anniston, passed away April 27, 2011 in Brandon, Florida. He was born on July 14, 1922 to Thema and William Reaves in Randolph County, Alabama. T.R. was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a wonderful father figure to his nieces, Brandye Fenn and Corey Kulas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and proudly served his country during World War II. His passions included farming, gardening, fishing, whittling, and ceramics. He was an avid Alabama fan, Braves fan, and WWE wrestling fan. He was predeceased in death by his parents and 12 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Shirley Reeves of Brandon, Florida; his sister, Mavis Collier; loving nieces, Brandye (Tim) Fenn of Florida, and Corey (Craig) Kulas of Virginia; son, Ray (Sherry) Reeves of Alabama; daughter Linda McCarley of Georgia; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on May 14, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, Florida.
