When I went to work as Kx104's engineer, I encountered Jon R&R, and believe me I had never seen anything like him. Still haven't. Jon spent the time and energy to make sure his time on the air was perfect in ever detail, show prep as MSJ would call it, was Jon's specialty. A true professional, Jon will be missed by all who knew and listened to him.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. During this time, it's comforting to know that God is aware of your circumstances. As 1 John 4:8 states "He is a God of love" and can provide uplifting encouragement for you. In addition, you have the loving support of family and friends.

I witnessed Jon Rock'n'Roll Anthony entertain during his show at Kicks_104_Nashville in the late 1970s. He was a great air talent and production master. He shared his faith and grew as a Christian. I admired Jon not only as a great radio man but AS a man and how he shared his faith via Social Media. I'm glad I re-connected with him on Facebook. I only met him once, but I'll always remember him. God Speed Tommy Tuggle. Prayers for the family.

He was my favorite uncle and we had a lot of good times together. He was funny and he was fun. We had are differences "football" but I always enjoyed visiting him. He was a big Alabama fan. I will never forget him, and he did his job as my uncle.

Jon, although we never met in person, it was a pleasure to have worked for the same radio station as you did (103.3 KLOU-FM, Saint Louis, MO) where you voicetracked the 7p-midnight shift. You are truly a radio legend and "Rock 'n Roll" truly was your middle name. I was shocked to hear of your passing but find comfort in knowing that you are in a better place now.
