A beautiful mind went home to be with the Lord joining all the others that went before him. He proudly served in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge in 1972. He lived his life as he saw fit, which was not always by the book. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving daughter; Heather Hill and her husband Robert; granddaughter; Samantha Hill and her fiancé Brandon Maiorino and his grandson; Robert Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Ivey Emory & Lura Landis Falkenburg; brothers; Ronald Ivey & John Paul Emory; and one stepsister; Geraldine Emory Day.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI.org), a grassroots organization promoting support, education, and promotion of mental health awareness.
A celebration of life for Tim will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
