Timothy Joseph Kasprzyk

Timothy was born on March 20, 1948 in Buffalo, New York. He attended Hutchinson Central Technical High School 304 in Buffalo and graduated in 1966. He then attended Buffalo State University for a bachelor's in education and finished at the University of South Carolina for a master’s in education. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, he served from 1965 to 1971 as a Radioman and Petty Officer Second Class, with duty aboard the USS Boston (CA-69). Timothy had a long and successful professional career with most of it spent at TECO Peoples Gas from 1982 to 2009 as the Director of Safety and Damage Prevention.

He was a longtime parishioner of Nativity Catholic Church and served as a Grand Knight of the Mother Seton Council 6724 from 2017 to 2018. Timothy went on to serve as District Warden and became District Deputy in 2021.

Tim received the blessed sacrament of marriage with Nancy Walker at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary in Buffalo on August 7, 1971. They raised two children, living in South Carolina, Georgia, and then finally settling in Brandon, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Erica (Todd), Scott; grandchildren, Dylan, Marcus, Natalie; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley; mother, Anna; brothers, Thomas and Daniel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 East Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. Interment will follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, mass intentions or donations may be offered at Nativity Catholic Church of Brandon.
