STEEN, Troy, 49, of Valrico, passed away September 23, 2011. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed amusement parks and all thrill seeking rides. Troy was a great guy who enjoyed fixing up cars and was always available to help others, no matter the task. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Theodore Steen. He is survived by his loving mother, Evelyn Steen of Brandon; devoted wife of 22 years, Debra; daughter, Sarah of Valrico; sisters, Barbara Steen of Brandon and Elizabeth Ford of Long Island, N.Y.; brothers, James Streer and wife Jackie of Live Oak, Fla., Joseph Streer and wife Gillian of Chesapeake, Va. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home.
