When we heard of ute`s passing away we were shocked and nearly couldn`t believe that our cousin had died so quickly. Brigitte doesn`t have brothers and sisters, Ute was part of her nearest family. That`s why we are satisfied that we managed to visit her last year in florida. It`s apity that this was the first and the last time we could do so. we spent wonderful days with her. She was full of energy and we enjoyed our beeing together.

Ute, though I only knew you for four short months I wouldn't trade them for the world. You were a lady of the first magnitude. I will never forget you and the great times we had taking dance lessons and dancing. Your eyes sparkled with a vibrant contentment whenever you were on the dance floor. I will never forget you. I know that you will be dancing in heaven with your loved ones.

I will always cherish the wonderful memories that we have shared for so many years.  You are my very best friend.  We have been thru good and bad times, but we had an everlasting friendship.  You are now at peace and home with Ron.  I will miss you.

I remember the first time I came to Tampa when we were 17 years old and I stayed with you and your Dad and Ute. They were so fun to be around. Then I continue to hear wonderful memories of them! I so sorry for your loss and if I could take the pain away I would. It's never easy losing a love one! But I know you , you will cherish what you have learned from Ute and you will embrace her greatness in life. Maybe it's time to start ball room dancing! She will now be with your Dad in peace. It's hard to believe she will not be dancing the night away ever again. She will be missed. My prayers go out to her family and friends.

The first time we met Ute, I knew we would be friends.  What I didn't realize is that together we would be part of a beautiful family.  Like Bob, I will never forget all your enchanting qualities.  Bob and I will miss you very much.

I only met you once, but wow what a lady! We will all surely miss you.

To Ute ~ the biography of your life is a lesson for all in perseverance and determination; a very young woman who didn't speak English developed into a graceful, hardworking, family oriented American who never struggled for words. You created a beautiful life for yourself in a foreign land. That alone speaks volumes about your character, dedication, and drive. Yours was not always an easy path and you paid some steep dues, yet that did not prevent you from pursuing your passions. I will remember you as a person of gratitude, generosity, and deep reflection. I will remember your unbridled determination to change the skewed lines into straight, neat and orderly ones...for everyone. 
You never gave up on those you loved -- you fought for their happiness no matter how brutal the battle. I will carry that forward with me.

Thank you for raising the sweetest, most open-hearted daughter in Jackie; the funnest, most even tempered son in Gary; and the strongest willed, always reliable son in my Ronnie. These are the gifts you left in this world, that took years of love to cultivate.

I truly hope you are at peace alongside Ron, your sister, and your parents.  I love you.

I miss you and love you with all my heart. My fondest memories as a kid involve camping at the Kentucky Lake with Dad, Uncle Lonnie, Aunt Mickey,  Aunt Pat, my cousins, Gary, and Jackie. Also going skiing at the lake on Sundays with friends and family. You were such a loving and giving mother. A part of me will always be with you.
