TURNER, Vera Etta Ann, 64, of Riverview passed away June 10, 2010. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. and has been wintering here since 2006 coming from Virginia. She retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in 2005 and she enjoyed home design, traveling and shopping. She was predeceased by her brother, William Beard Watson, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Deontray Turner of Calif., and Tony Turner III of Fla.; daughter, Kimberly McIvor (Theodore McIvor) of Va; and granddaughters, Brooklyn Turner and Kandace McIvor; and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
