

Born on April 1, 1942 in Tampa Florida. Vince was a devoted husband and father. He shared over 28 years of marriage with his loving wife Shirley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosario and Helen Palermo and his son, Mark Palermo.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; daughters, Amber Palermo, Vickie Farmer (Willie), Gale Cook (Frank), Leigh Raymond (Danny); sisters, Rosalie Chalmers, Norah Parker, and Doris Myers (Billy); brother-in-law, Ed Pugh; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vince retired from the Air Force and worked in the aviation field throughout his civilian career until 2014.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to breakfast with his son-in-laws, was an avid NASCAR fan, collected knives and guns and spent time at the shooting range.
Vince brought joy and laughter to the lives of many people. He will be missed by all. Jimmy Buffett was his favorite performer - think of Vince the next time you hear a Jimmy Buffett song.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Vince's life will be held 12:30-2 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.
