SINGLETON, Virgil G, 87, of Brandon passed away April 29, 2013. He was a decorated World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Brandon Church of the Nazarene. Virgil loved and served Jesus Christ, his family and his country. He is survived by his wife, Edna Singleton; sons, Thomas W. Singleton and Neil A. Singleton; daughters, Norma J. Singleton and Brenda S. Booth; six grandchildren, Brian, Bruce, Brian, Bradley, Laura and Carlos; eight great-grandchildren, Jada, Niyera, Jaelen, Noelani, Madyn Reagan, Lelan and Kellia; and many loved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at noon at Brandon Church of the Nazarene.
