Wanda Patton Baker
January 6, 1935 – April 30, 2021
Wanda P Baker, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday morning, April 30, 2021. She was born January 6, 1935 in Pulaski, Virginia to George and Wilma Patton.
She had a tremendous love for life and children, she worked with kindergarten age children for all of her working career. She received many awards and acknowledgements for her work in the Hillsborough County School system.
She enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at the beach, loved various crafts projects, putting together puzzles, playing board games and cards, even doing a daily crossword puzzle, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially holiday get togethers which included children, grand children and great grandchildren!
Wanda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jerry, brother Butch Patton, her sons, Vic Smith, Tim Smith and Todd Smith. Her daughters, Lynne Rogers and Karen Lamberton, 7 grandchildren, Amanda Rogers, Amy Rogers, Ashley Rogers, Cody Lamberton, Collin Lamberton, Ivan Smith and Jacob Smith. As well as 4 great grandchildren, Addison, Ezra, Breck and Connor.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
