William Thomas McVey

William Thomas McVey was born at MacDill AFB Tampa to Eldridge O. McVey and Ruby Taggart McVey on May 9th, 1947. He went to Plant High School, Tampa. He attended USF in Tampa. He Married Sheila Woods on August 7, 2001. He was a race car driver in his early years, a news photographer for Channel 13, a business consultant , and a Sales Consultant for Lazydays RV for 22 years. He was a veteran during the Vietnam War period and served in the Coast Guard.

He was predeceased by his sister Geraldine Turlington. William is survived by his wife Sheila Woods. His daughter Krishna Y. McVey and her spouse Melissa McVey. His daughter Erin H. McVey and her spouse Sergio Hiramatsu. The mother of his children Kathleen Harrington. His stepdaughter Jennifer Fowler. His stepdaughter Valerie Elvy. His brother Warren Ace mcVey. His grandchildren William Taggart Mcvey, Meade McVey, Emerson McVey, Rowan Hiramatsu and Alona Hiramatsu.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on June 5th, 2024 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd. Brandon FL 33511 followed by a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
