Bill was born February 24, 1935 in Ft. Worth, Tex., to William & Loleta Millican. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Hardin Simmons University, Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary & Doctorate of Ministry at Luther Rice Seminary. He pastored 51 years in many churches in the USA, including Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, and Florida, but never retired from sharing Christ's love with others.
60 years ago, on August 16, he married his true love, Darlene, then raised 3 daughters, Cindy, Cathy, and Melody.
Bill passions were God, family, friends, baseball, and Bluebell ice cream. His wisdom, honor, and quick wit were unparalleled. With a kind and compassionate spirit, he shared Christ's love on the baseball field, grocery store, church, (really anywhere) so others could find true meaning in life - a personal relationship with Jesus.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his younger sister, Melinda. He is survived by his wife;three daughters; four grandchildren, Candace, Camille, Deanna, Dustin; one great-grandson, Beckett; one niece; two nephews; and many cousins.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center, Fla.
