

Bill is survived by his wife, Olga O’Keefe; children, Zenaida, Kisha, Carmen, Maria, William Jr., Rosa and Mark; siblings, Dennis, Timothy and Christopher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard O’Keefe Sr. and Edna Daus; siblings, Marianne O'Keefe Volpe, Elaine Faith O'Keefe Cohan, Evelyn O'Keefe, Hope O'Keefe Giorno and Richard O’Keefe.
Bill was born on December 29th, 1955 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Richard O’Keefe Sr. and Edna Daus. He graduated from PACE University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 1980. He also attended Polytechnic University and graduated in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering. He married Olga in 1986. Over 39 years, the couple welcomed 7 children, 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild into their lives.
Bill’s passions were singing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was very generous with his time, regularly helping others, donating blood, and working with organizations that served the community. He was an active and dedicated member of Nativity Catholic Church (Choir Singer and Emmaus Brother), the Knights of Columbus, and VFW Riverview Post 8108 (Auxiliary Chaplain), and he volunteered for many years at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts.
A Funeral Mass for William will take place 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 East Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida.
