William “Bill” Whited, Jr., 83, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 1, 2013. He was born on February 28, 1930 in Ohio. He worked as a supervisor at Anheuser-Busch for 28 years. Bill proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Masons Lodge #250 as well as the United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Whited; 4 brothers and a sister. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Beverly Whited; son, Gregory Whited; daughters, Jacqueline Whited and Robin (Dave) Morton; daughter-in-law, Juanita Whited; grandchildren, James Tyson, Zachary Hutchinson, Robert Whited, Alyssa Whited, and Bryan Whited; great grandson, Elijah Tyson; sister-in-law, Inez B. Whited; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 7 with Masonic ceremony at 7 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 8 at 10:30 AM. All services at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bill’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association of Gulf Coast Florida or LifePath Hospice. Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories.
