Chan, Yang Neng, 90, of Brandon, Florida passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his three daughters, Hong Chen, Ping Chen, and Min Chen; grandson, Chen Wang and his wife Mary Beth D Wang; grandson, Zongde Li; granddaughter, Meryl Jo Giles; four great-grandsons, Evan B Wang, Noah J Wang, Elijah A Wang, and Ezra N Wang. Yang Neng Chan and his wife, Chuan Ying Zhou were both survivors from the cultural revolution in China. They came to America right before Tiananmen disaster in Beijing in 1989. Yang Neng Chan was a professor, artist and a calligrapher. He always gave his family a special smile, caring heart, and warm embrace. He was always there for his wife and children through good and bad times, no matter what. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends and will be deeply missed. With God’s care, he will rest in peace with his beloved wife Chuan Ying Zhou where they are together forever in Heaven.
A service will take place 2pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon; family will receive guests at 1pm.
