IVANISKO Andrew (Sr.) - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Andrew on Thursday, May 30, 2013, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lois (Fletcher) in 2004. Andrew passed peacefully surrounded by his children at Brantford General Hospital. Cherished and loving father of Ann Campbell (Lou Lombardo), Cindy Holt (Charley Johnston), Wendy Kowal (Andy Montgomery), Andy Ivanisko Jr. (April), Brenda Fairless (Brook), John Ivanisko (Jeanne Benoit), Steven Ivanisko (Suzanne). Proud Grandfather of seven and Great Grandfather of six. Andrew is survived by sisters Mary Minken, Hilda Ivanisko and nieces and nephews. After devoting over 40 years of service to Valley City Manufacturing, Andrew continued his love for woodworking at home, creating many precious keepsakes for family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. The family would also like express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at the Brantford General Hospital who cared for Andrew during his stay. For those who wish to say goodbye to Andrew a visitation will be held at "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME", 96 West Street on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. There will be no funeral service. A private family internment will take place at Oakhill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Epilepsy Canada or Prostate Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
