Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital with her family by her side on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of Antonio (1990). Dear mother of Lucy and Floyd Smith, Sylvia and Rinaldo Di Cesare, Sam and Judy Santangelo, and Tony Santangelo. Dearest grandmother of Jerry, Tammy (2016), and Linda Smith, Lucia, Adriana, Susanna, and Vittoria Di Cesare, Kasondra, and Anthony Santangelo. Dear great-grandmother of nine. Eldest sister of Tonino (2018), Anna Del Signore, Lucia Cretelli, Iolanda Petrella, Domenica Garafolo, Silvana Lauretti, Luigi, Aldo, and Frank Pace.
The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Monday September 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Prayer Service in the chapel on Tuesday September 11 at 11:00 am followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
