Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, March 22, 2013, in his 95th year. Loving husband of Sarah (nee Hughes) and dear “Daddy” of Bernice McLaughlin-Heinsaar and her husband, Toivo. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant son Ian Joseph McLaughlin, parents, brothers and sister-in-law.
Friends will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME”, 96 West Street on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Lifecare or St. Pius X Parish. Benny’s family would like to say thank you to Dr. Ho and to all the nurses at the Brantford General Hospital, also to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Lifecare and Lifeguard Homecare for their care and support.
