Carl Wesley Charlton

In his 86th year, beloved husband to Suzanne for 56 years, loving father of Dr. Gordon Charlton (Shawn) & John Charlton. Dear grandfather to 4 special grandchildren Carleigh, Emileigh, Wesleigh and Hayleigh (Melissa, mother of the grandchildren). Carl was a Property Valuation Manager for 39 years in Trenton, Windsor, Brantford, Hamilton and Guelph. He was an avid golfer with five holes in one, winning numerous club championships at the Trenton G. C., Rosedale G. C., Windsor, Northridge G.C., Paris G.C. and Fescue's Edge Senior Championship. He also won many mens and seniors Invitationals throughout Ontario and Clearwater, Florida. He leaves behind his sister Carilyn McClenny (Lowell), brothers Harold (Bernice) and Charles, Sisters-in-law Sr. Therese Ladouceur, Pauline Deal, and brothers-in-law Dr. Tom Deal, and Verne Mondolesi. Carl is survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, Brian, Sarah, Andy, Audrey, Alex, Ashley, Greg, Shawn, Jackie, Pat, and Barbra and their families. He will be sadly missed by his friends Wayne Watson and all the people at Fescue's Edge Golf Course. Carl was predeceased by his siblings Marilyn (1944), Doris(2016), Johnny (1997) Connelly and his sister-in-law Dolores (2019). Thank you to Dr. Maria Deleon-Matsuda, the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Brantford General Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for the excellent care and comfort that they gave to Carl. A Special Thank you to Bill and Bev Lang for their kindness and thoughtfulness during Carl's sickness. At Carl's request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Brantford General Hospital, Hamilton General Hospital or Heart and Stroke. Memories and condolences may be shared below.
