Suddenly, as a result of an automobile accident in Blind River, Ontario on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in his 78th year. Loving husband of Rose. Cherished father of Linda and John Luciani, Terri and John Pickett, Carmine and Laurel Minutillo, and Leann and Brent Newey. Much loved papa to Megan, Andrew, Carmine, Amber, Richard and Quinn. Survived by siblings Vencenza, Lucia, Donata, Louisa, Nicole, Clotilda, Vito and Michele. Predeceased by daughter Tina Marie, siblings, Tony, John and Vencenzo. Family and friends will be received at “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME and Chapel” on Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Prayers at 6:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 12 noon at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street, Brantford. Cremation has already taken place.
