At the John Noble Home on Thursday May 8, 2014 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert. Loving Mother of Edward (Laurel) and Bernice (Joe) Pikula and predeceased by Joan Karkut. Dear Babci to Katherine (Warren), Jonathan (Lisa), Krista (Trevor), Alison (Todd), Nadia (Rob), Joe (Tiff). Great-Babci to Joshua, Ethan, Madeleine, Owen, Niobe, Kalina, Ryan, Logan, Scott, Nathan, Avery, Hudson, Trent, Nolan and Brynley. Survived by Marion, Albina, Jaska and Mary and predeceased by John, Walter, Joe, Michael, Frank, Bernice and Bolek Pokoj. Sister-in-law to Mary Pokoj and also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Poland and the U.S.A.

The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Friday May 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm with Parish prayers at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 235 Brant Avenue on Saturday May 10th 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the John Noble Home or to St. Joseph’s Church Elevator Fund would be appreciated.
