Dave Engleby

Lost his battle with cancer November 28, 2015. Dave leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years-Joanne Reaume-Engleby, his children, Melissa Hughes ( Craig), Meagan Miller (Jeff), and Jesse Engleby, (Carmen). Dave was a loving Grandfather to Caiden, Connor, Sophia, Austin and Owen. Godfather of Riley and Tanner McMillan. His faithful canine companion, Stella, was by his side throughout his illness. Dave unconditionally loved his children, grand-children, family and friends. This love and his wicked sense of humour was appreciated by all who knew him. Dave was a long-term employee of Bull Moose Tube in Burlington, Ontario, a proud Member of USWA Union Local 14162 and recently a School Bus driver for Sharp Bus Lines. Dave will be greatly missed by his large extended family, friends and neighbours. Special thanks go out to everyone who has helped us with kindness and consideration on this journey. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Legere; all of the outreach teams and especially the wonderful staff and volunteers at Stedman Hospice-Hankinson House. At Dave’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home at 4 pm.
