Shirley and Family

On behalf of the members of the Woodcutter's hunt club past and present we offer our deepest condolences to you and your families for your loss.

"Digger Dave" will be missed by all of us. Moose hunting at Beaver Lake will surely feel less complete without our visits from Dave, the updates on the local activity, the story telling long into the night and the euchre game or twelve!

Dave always came over for roast beef dinner night every year, and rest assured we will set a place for him at the table this season.

We hope and pray that you can take solace in the love and support of family and friends alike at this most difficult time.

Sincerely
Greg and Doug Knight
Keith Fair, Terry Braund, Earl Sylvain, Ken and Tim Gaffney, Peter Emick, Dan Payne, John Neal, John Scrivner, Brian McCann, and Sean and Jocko.

It has been a long time since we have talked to Dave (Herb), but my fondest memories would be the trips to Indy for the US Nationals, in his dad’s Chevy truck with the slide-in camper.

Two guys in the front and three in back, Don Atkinson, Gary Roach, Eric Perry and maybe another club member.

Dave’s humour and his ability to carry on a conversation about anything and everything on those long trips made the time go fast.

His love of Mopar cars was his passion, i.e. Plymouth GTX and many more.
We will surely miss him.

Our condolences to the family!! Shirley you are in r thoughts and prayers!! Dave was quite a character! Cottage life at the lake wont quite be the same!! We will miss his popping in and telling us stories of his adventures and what's happening at our lake! Dave always would come and check out what Rick was up too and sometimes even getting in there to help! Whinny would bark at him everytime but he always had time for her too!! When he hasn't been there for the past while, there sure was something missing!! We will miss him!! Love Rick, Julie and Whinny!!
