Denise Cormier

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Denise Marie Cormier (nee Lalonde) of Brantford,ON surrounded by the love of her family. Denise was born in St. Isidore, ON on November 11, 1940 and soon moved to Brantford, where she met and married her beloved husband of 53 years, Joseph Clairie Cormier. Loving mother of Lance and Angela, Quinn and Jami, and Jason, and a proud grandmother of Tristan, Vincent, Adele, Evan, Amanda, and Jim. We all loved her greatly and learned so much through her strength and devotion to family. Denise will be greatly missed by her entire family. She was the dear sister of Fern, Roland, Regent, Gaetan, Maurice, Yvette, Jeanette, Suzanne, and Nicole. She will be fondly remembered by all the brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws of the Cormier and Lalonde families, and is in the thoughts and prayers of many nieces, nephews, and friends. Denise’s family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during the time of her illness and our loss. A special thank you goes out to the neighbours and friends, thoughtful caregivers from Bayshore Outreach program, and the wonderful and compassionate staff at the Brantford General CCU. Friends and family will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Sunday, December 29th from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m, with Parish Prayers at 8:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 30th at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, at 10am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
