We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom . When I was a young boy. All family and friends would get together for New Years at my Grandpa and Grandma's Bassett's home in Simcoe. Their house was small. Your Dad would sit in the back chair not far from Grandpa. They were watching football, telling stories. Your Mom would be back and forth looking after the children and helping Grandma in the Kitchen. They were Good Friends. So our condolences from the BASSETT family. Gord,Brenda,Olga,Joanne, and family

There are just too many memories and too many times that Aunt Dorothy reached out to me that I can't pick one. My mom Pearl and Aunt Dorothy shared so much as both lost their husbands early and had a sisterly bond that never wavered. Even though she started to have complications with her health earlier this year she called me on a number of occasions from April through July to make sure I was doing okay,, because I hadn't shared my illness with my own mom. Always cherished, never forgotten. God will hold you close. Rest In Peace.
