Douglas L. Hunks

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Douglas Lloyd Hunks on April 27, 2015 at the Brantford General Hospital, with his family by his side. Loving and devoted husband to the late Patricia Margaret Hunks. Beloved father of Anne Hunks, Douglas (Rinagh), Margaret (William) Firth, the late Daniel (Anita), the late John and the late David. Dear Grandpa to Michelle, Allison (Keith), Lisa, Kevin (Laura), Rachel, David (Emily), Amanda (Daryl), Justin, Ashley, Nick, Matt and 8 great-grandchildren. He was a man of few words but had a deep love for his family. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 6pm – 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St., on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
