To My Dearest Auntie Eleanora,
It is with profound sorrow and grief that I remember you now in the most sweetest of ways; as you always remembered my birthday, anniversary, Christmas, the births of Alexandria, Nicholas, William and Elizabeth and then all of their birthdays too. Not to mention the outstanding and fully loaded Halloween Loot bags that she always made so special for my children when they were little that they always exclaimed that "Auntie Eleanora's treat bags were the best part of Halloween"!! There are so many things that I will always remember about you: your infectious laugh and fits of giggles, your wonderful love for all of your family, your devotion to Uncle Doug, Jeff, Elizabeth, Catherine, Jason, Scott, Kristie, Wesley, Easton, Noelle and Spencer, your ability to comfort all of us when times were tough and your tenderness as a wonderful friend when I grew up and needed to talk, your kindness and selflessness and a million other wonderful attributes too many to name here.  I will never forget my first babysitter who loved nothing more to sit me in that tiny bathroom in the house that Grandpa Brandt built for his family on Mill Street; for what seemed like an eternity to me when I was a small child so that she could play hairdresser arranging all of the updo's and ringlets to show my mummy when she came to pick me back up.  Oh....and the BBQ's that you and Uncle Doug would have in the summertime there in that same house.  So many precious memories of my very dear Auntie.  We are now one very special, deeply loved one less here with us and I know that Heaven has gained one of the rarest, gem of a lady.  You are now free of the aches and hurts that you carried and are now restored from these and back "Home" with Uncle Doug, Grandma and Grandpa Brandt, Thomas, and Grandma and Grandpa Currie and they are all surely rejoicing in your arrival.  You are already missed so very dearly that nothing will be the same without you.  I will always remember you, ALWAYS...dearly with love and affection.  Your bright eyes, warm smiles, awesome hugs and tender love we all miss already.  We will meet again for this much I know and when that time comes, I will rejoice in seeing you, so until then; rest Dear Auntie Eleanora.  Jeff, Elizabeth, Catherine, Jason, Scott, Kristie, Wesley, Noelle and Spencer, always remember that we are here for you for whatever you need from us as a family, always.

This is my Auntie - small in size, quiet in voice but with the kindest of hearts and a pillar of strength. It's hard to imagine she is no longer with us but I am surely grateful to have her a part of my life. Her legacy lives on in our happy memories and in her family.
