Leaving behind her son Jeff and his partner Jim Nixon. She is also survived by her nieces Mary Ellen Simons, Susanne Gogan and Dawna Laitar as well as many other family members and friends. Betty is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Kathleen Williams, sister Alice Ellis and best friend Joan Ellis. Many thanks to the staff of Chestnut Court at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre with a special “yoo hoo”.
Visitation will take place from 12-1 pm at "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL", 96 West Street, Brantford, Ontario on Saturday, November 4, 2023. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Thorpe Suite.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate an expression of sympathy to be made as a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
