Peacefully at Brierwood Gardens in Brantford on Monday August 25, 2014 in her 95th year. Loving aunt to Patrick (Gale) Phillips, Sandra (Ken) Motherall, Gayda (Roger) Smith, Eileen Kennickell, Michael (Lorraine) Phillips, Suzanne (Tom) Potts, Barbara (Terry) Sitts and Jane (Dennis) Battocchio. Survived by many great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William Reilly, parents Nelson and Sarah Reeves, sisters Elga, Eileen and Lila, brothers William and Ivan and her nephew Charles Reeves. Gayda taught as a teacher in Prince Edward Island and lived in Brantford for many years.
A private family service was held at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home” 96 West Street. Thank you to the caring staff at Brierwood Gardens for her care.
