Passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace after a lengthy illness on December 26th, 2013, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Douglas (1997). Sister of Gertrude (the Late Bob) Hunks, Wilma (Neale) Hermeston and Ruth (Fred) Miller. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Irene and Bill Doy (1961; 2000), and sister Pat (1998). The family would like to thank nieces Linda and Janice Hunks and also Hardy Terrace for their exceptional patience, care and compassion. At Geraldine’s request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home & Chapel”.
