It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Smetana announces her passing on May 14th, 2015, in her home, at the age of 76. Loving mother to Richard, James, Verna, Sheila Fleury, Leon, Gerald and the late Wayne. Beloved grandmother to Charmaine, Sarah, Amanda, Ronda, Nichole, Jason and Steven and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Monday May 18th, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 at 11am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
