Gwendolyn (Greenwood) Amy

On Sunday, May 1, 2011 in her 92nd year at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre. Beloved mother of Mary Flaherty, Connie Boone (Bill), Anne Dey (Robert), Susan Fitzpatrick (Gary), Bryan Greenwood-Pawley (James), Grandmother of Mike, Kelly, David, Monica, Cathy, Jamila, Selina, Kimberly, Bradley and Russell. Great grandmother of 15 and great-great grandmother of 1. Survived by sisters Evelyn Card, Mary Ellen Edgar, brother Ion Greenwood. Predeceased by a sister Doris Depew; brother Robinson Greenwood and Grandson Steven Fitzpatrick. Sadly missed by cousins, nieces and nephews and will be forever in our hearts. Gwen was a RPN until retirement. Her greatest passion was her family. We would like to thank all the staff at St. Joseph’s Life Care Centre and also Dr. Hadley. At the request of Gwendolyn, cremation has taken place. There will be an Eastern Star Service, under the auspices of Meeting Waters Chapter 173 of Paris, Ontario at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home, 96 West Street, Brantford on Saturday May 7th at 12:30 pm. Memorial visitation from 1 to 2 pm followed by a Memorial service in the Chapel at 2pm
