Predeceased by his wife Margaret (2005). Loving father of Michael (Karen), Susan, Linda (Michael), John (Fiona), Maryann (Gary), and Robert (Arlene). Harry will also be missed by his grandchildren Ian, Eric, Kyle, Ben, Gillian, Branden, and Carlee, and great grandchildren Sierra, Noah, and Finley. Brother of Jack (Marilyn) of Oakville and predeceased by sister Shirley (2014).
Harry was born and raised in Brantford and was a longtime employee of Harding Carpets. He will be missed by his family and friends who will remember his kindness and quick wit. Harry was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand, sitting on his front porch, and being with his family.
A family service will be held at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home on Friday May 27.
Thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at the Brantford General Hospital for the excellent care and comfort that they gave Harry.
