Ivy Marie Vansickle

It is with a heavy heart, the Vansickle family announces the sudden passing of a very special loved one. Ivy Vansickle (nee Sears), passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, November 20th, 2016, in her 58th year. As she takes her journey to another world she leaves behind the broken hearts of her three children she shares with Allan Vansickle of Cambridge. Her daughters Lisa Vansickle (Red Hall) and Amanda Vansickle (Ben Rohrer), and her son Robert Vansickle. She was a lady and friend to all she knew and the World’s Best Grandma to Lynn Marie and Dylan Vansickle, Richard and Heather Hall and Katie and Keegan Vansickle. Sister to Gloria, Vera, Ann, Marian, Tracey, Dorothy, Ted, Tom, Tony, Albert, Tim and Cliff, some of whom have passed. She was daughter to the late Susan and Thomas Sears. Family, friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate her and wish her well on her journey at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford, on Thursday, December 1st from 7pm-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 1pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation in Ivy’s name would be appreciated by the family.
