Peacefully, after a brief illness, on June 13th, 2012 at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre in his 85th year. Predeceased by wives Helene (Schopf) and Norma (Maxner). Loving Father of Richard (Crystal) and John (Angie). Step-father of Joyce, Joanne, Jeanette, Jimmy, Johnny, Dolly, Freddy, Mae and Carla. Beloved Grandpa of Jim (Crystal), John, Tara (Darren), Jordan (Samantha) and Jessica. Dear Great-Grandpa of many. Jack will be sadly missed by dear friends Ike and Dave. The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel”, 96 West Street on Friday, June 15th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 16th at 10am. Interment Jerseyville Cemetery.
