Peacefully, at home, on October 4, 2015 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Ray (1994). Loving mother of John (Terry-Lynn), Louise (Gord) Bowen, Mary, Laura (Larry) Madden and Carol (Mike) Pollard. Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, her sisters Pat McDonald and Frances Boyle and many nieces and nephews. Kay was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, a life member of St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, the Catholic 50 Club and the Dufferin Lawn Bowling Club. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Friday October 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, on Saturday, October 10th at 9:30am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
