Peacefully at home on Thursday September 24, 2015 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late George (1986). Loving mother of Rick (Lorraine), Jim (Pam), Doug (Cathy), Kathy (Danny Pierce) and Derryk (Shelly). Beloved grandmother of Shelley (Brad), Sherry (Luke), Greg (Wendy), Tanya, Ryan (Barb), Leanne (Charlie), Trevor (Beth), Danielle (Jack), Nathan (Neely), Andrea (Geoff), Kerri (Doug), John (Becky), Megan (Ryan), Kayla and Tyler. 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild Predeceased by her brother Don and infant daughter Carole Lynne (1963). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Monday September 28th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of her life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday September 29th at 2:00 pm. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
