Lynn Colynuck

March 11, 1951June 9, 2021

On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, Lynn courageously ended her painful battle with a long-term illness. Lynn was pre-deceased by her brother John, her son Steven, her sister Patti, her brother Peter, and her grandson Trystin. She is survived by her husband Allen, her daughter Lee Ann, her daughter-in-law Tammy, and her grandchildren: Amanda, Ashley, Ally, Alysha, and Tyler. She is also survived by her immediate family: Paul (Jayne), Beth (Ed), Kim (Chris), & Mark (Debbie), and great-grandchildren: Logan, Ariella, and Isabella. Also survived by cousins from New Brunswick (who treated her as a sister), and many nephews and nieces. Lynn was a hard worker all her life. She worked in the service industry, retail, and loved her administrative work in manufacturing facilities. When her health prevented her for working full-time, she volunteered at local support agencies. She will be long remembered by them for her boundless energy, her baking, and her fudge. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME”, 96 West St., on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 12pm – 3pm by RSVP. If you would like to attend the visitation, please go to to sign up for an available timeslot. A Private Family Service will be held at 3pm that will be available by livestream. Lynn loved flowers, but she would much prefer that those who wish to make a donation to Stedman Community Hospice (Brantford) instead. No lilies. Memories and Condolences may be shared and the link for livestream may be found online at “To all of my friends and family, please know how much I appreciate everything that you all did for me. I love you all very much.”

I spent a lot of fun-filled years with Lynne so many years ago...Moving, and moving tripping....amazing home cooked meals, evenings on the deck toasting to the weekend. Many memories I look back on and enjoy. My condolences to you Al and all of Lynn's family. David and Carol.

What a beautiful tribute to Lynn .
She would have loved how it all turned out. Really enjoyed seeing the many photos of Lynn's life while listening to her favorite music. It all had so much meaning, right down to Lynn sharing her last batches of fudge. Rest in Peace Lynn. 💕 Our condolences to Al, Lee Ann, and the rest of Lynn's family.
