Peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, on Monday October 17, 2016 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Alexander (Lorne). Loving mother of Lorne (Susan), Darryl (Sue), Denise (Michael), Cindy, Paula (Rich) and Kevin (Shari). Dear grandmother of Marcia (Mark), Martin (Devon), Darren, Oona (Paul), Damien (Lee), Andre, Jesse, Derek, Abigael, Jordan, Dylan, Charlotte, Kelsie and Jorja. Great- grandmother of Madeleine, Louie, Oliver and Noah. Dear sister of Evelyn and predeceased by all her other brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered and missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford, on Thursday October 20th at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris. A Celebration of her life will be held at the “Thorpe Brothers ‘Carriage House, 96 West Street, Brantford, immediately following the interment. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
