He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Clara. Martin is survived by his six children, Cathy Blancher (George Murray), Pat Hyslop (Keith), Ed Gamelin (Carolyne Daly), Margaret Cochrane (Pete), Ruth Tetreault (Bob) and Tom Gamelin (Leanne). His legacy will live on in his 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
“Marty” was the sole proprietor of Fennell Meat Market for many years and was well respected by many customers.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amber Lea Place Retirement Home in Brantford for their excellent care during Martin’s stay. Cremation has taken place. Thank you to Thorpe Funeral Home in Brantford for helping with the arrangements. A private family memorial service will be held on a later date.
