It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew “Matty” on September 24, 2023 at the age of 30.
Beloved son of Kimberly Straetmans and the late Matthew “Skip” Marshall. Loving father of Mia Marshall. Brother of Brian (Patti), Jessica, Sarah and Stephanie. Uncle to Kelsey, Caitlyn, Brianna, Kaylee, Andre, Shayleigh, Nadine and Mateo. Matthew will be sadly missed by the mother of his daughter Mia, Corrinna, and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME”, 96 West St., on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the “Thorpe Suite”, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11am. Interment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery. A Celebration of Matty’s life will also be held at a later date, contact the family for details. Memories and condolences for Matthew may be shared below.
