At home on September 4th, 2014 in her 80th year. Loving wife of the late Ronald Strongman. Beloved mother of Deborah (Allan) Bigelow, Denise (Barry) Wood-Tompkins and Traci (Fred) Beechey. Dear grandmother to nine grandchildren and G.G. to eight. Sister of Don, Bill, Hugh, and Albert. Predeceased by brothers Thomas and James and sister Beverly; survived by their respective families. She will be sadly missed by her long-time companion Sugar. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Monday, September 8th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 9th at 11am. Interment Oakhill Cemetery.
