

Funeral service will be held at Grace Anglican Church on November 17 at 11 A.M. Visitation will be held at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home on November 16 from 2 P.M. till 4 P.M. and from 7 P.M. till 9 P.M.
Nancy was born in Brantford to Alec and Edna (Day) Cooke on June 30, 1943. She went to high school at Brantford Collegiate Institute. Nancy went on to earn a certificate from the Brantford Business College. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Robert Farley, and for many years as an elementary school secretary for the Brant County Board of Education at South Ward School and Queen’s Ward School in Paris and Greenbriar Public School in Brantford.
Nancy delighted in her grandchildren, choral singing, bargain hunting for presents, and being a member in good standing of the PRYC. She was involved with the Grace Anglican Church choir and the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Donald John Wellington Hagey of Brantford; her sons Jonathan Stuart Hagey and Donald Gregor Hagey of Toronto and Morning Blood Glory of Paris; her sisters Pamela Susan Reavie of Burford and Deborah Jean Dryden of Guelph; her grandchildren Magdalene Olivia, Xavier Fawkes and Charlotte May Hagey of Brantford, Clara Elizabeth and Declan Bennett Coleman-Hagey of Toronto; Edna-Jean Ithildin Phoenix Holmes and Walter Jonathan Hagey-Holmes of Paris, and Chloe Lux Kiyoko and Julian Finlay Quinn Glory of Paris; her daughters-n-law Hilary Anne Coleman of Toronto, Dana Kiyoko Carnelian Blood Glory of Paris and Emily Lauren Kulasa of Toronto; brothers and sisters-in-law Frederick George Dryden of Guelph, Patricia and Hadley Jackson of Port Dover, Henry and Donna Hagey of Simcoe, and Janet Hagey and William Aikman of Ottawa, and many nephews and nieces.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Edna May (Day) Walters, her father Alfred Alec Gordon Cooke and her brothers Alec Michael and Peter Edmund Cooke.
