Nordene was preceded in death by her husband William Humeniuk, followed some years later by her husband, Charles Pilkington. She was a loving mother to the late Wayne Humeniuk (Martha) and Linda Hounslow (late Gordon). Dear grandmother to Michelle (Simon), Jennifer, Kimberly (Brien), Nathan (Charity), Rebecca (William) and the late Jonathan, and great grandmother to Emma, Aiden, Carter, Patience and Nolan.
Faith and family were important to Nordene, but it was her sense of humour that truly made her stand apart. Those of us who had the chance see the twinkle in her eye and hear her cheeky humour, will never forget it. She will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends at "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL" on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 10:30-11:30am. A funeral service will take place in the Thorpe Suite at 11:30am.
