

Pinnell, Norman Howard - Born on a cold, snowy day December 1, 1940, he passed quietly at his home in County of Brant on the cold, snowy day of February 18, 2015. Survived by his wife Cathy and their daughter Amy Pinnell (David Sharpe), his children Lezly Waterhouse, Scott Pinnell (Rose Blois-Pinnell), Virginia Pinnell, and Todd Pinnell, his grandchildren, Jessica Gonzalez, Graham and Sam Waterhouse, Chelsey Pinnell and Ethan Blois-Pinnell, Amadeo, Atticus and Clara Vaz, and Zoe Pinnell, his great-grandchildren Elena and Mateo Gonzalez. Survived by his three sisters, Shirley (Mac) Love, Marian (Jerry) Pauley, Carol (Brian) Cunning. Pre-deceased by his infant son Jimmy and his parents Percy and Isabel Pinnell. Reunited once again with his beloved basset hounds, especially his buddy Chester. Norm was honoured to be a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was a former long-time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 90. His love of the land brought him back to living in the country after many years of city life. His love of travel took him far and wide and gave him priceless memories and stories galore. We, his family, wish to acknowledge and thank the entire Palliative Care team who supported him and us through his last months, family doctor Dr Donald Swan for his years of attention, pulmonary and respiratory specialist Dr Abayomi Ajayi for following him after his COPD attack, Dr Bryan Lee and members of the Brantford Cancer Clinic in conjunction with Juravinski Cancer Centre for treatment of his lung cancer. Your expertise and dedication gives you all our true respect. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
