OBITUARY

Patricia Carol Cunningham

July 16, 1941 – June 3, 2020
Obituary of Patricia Carol Cunningham
IN THE CARE OF

Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home & Chapel

Left this world as a result of a sudden heart attack at home, Wednesday, June 3, 2020, with her

loving husband, Doug of 60 years at her side. She has left a profound gap in the lives of her 5

daughters, Gloria Rajnak (Rob), Joan Cubbon (Paul), Linda Buckley (Jeff), Beth and Barb

Cunningham.

Family was everything to our Mom. She will be sadly missed by her much loved 14

grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and their families; Chris (Stef, Ava, Leo) Rajnak, Julie

(Ayanna) Rajnak; Laura (Bryce) Rajnak; Jack, Kelly, and Marcia Cubbon; Melissa (Brian and

Declan) Minix, Emily (Cory, Annabelle, Graham, Nicholas) Collins, Alexandra (Randy) Wanis;

Sadie Gallant, Heather (Kirk) Gallant; Nadia, Jill, and Troy Pajnic.

Our Mom will be mourned by her sisters; Hazel Matthews and Betty Lake, her many sisters and

brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, CLUB, neighbours, as well as friends both near and far. She

treasured you all!

Our Mom was greeted in Heaven by her sons Jim and Douglas Jr.; her brother Ken Farrugie

and her parents Gus and Doris Farrugie.

Mom lived in Brantford her entire life and seemed to go to school with everyone! She modelled

generosity, hospitality, and taught us what commitment to community looked like. Our Mom

lived out her life with conviction dedicated to her Catholic faith. She was very involved in the life

of St. Mary’s Parish Our Lady of Assumption Church including several years as a member of the

CWL.

A family service was held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

For those that wish to, a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements entrusted to Thorpe Brothers' Funeral Home & Chapel. 519-759-2211. Memories and condolences of Carol may be shared online at www.thorpebrothersfh.com
