It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patrick Newton on July 11, 2012, in his 68th year. Loving husband and best friend to Rosemary for 38 years. Dear father of Kimberley Duguid and Jason Newton. Fondly remembered by Rhonda Newton. Cherished papa of Mackenzie Newton and grandfather to Spencer and Taylor Lees. Survived by brothers Gil (Irene) Newton and Jack (Diane) Newton, brother-in-law Mike (Delcy) Ratusznyk and mother-in-law Gertrude Ratusznyk. Will be sadly missed by Wendy and Jennifer Newton and families and Renee, Michael and Kristopher Ratusznyk. Predeceased by parents Bill and Mary Newton, sister Joan and husband Vern Ball and father-in-law Michael Ratusznyk Sr. As per Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford.
