My condolences to the family on the passing of Bob. I worked with him for many years at The Star. He was a friendly, outgoing person always ready to jump in and help out when the need arose. May your good memories of Bob help you through this period of grief.

Dear Michelle and family,
We are deeply saddened by the news of Bob’s/our Uncle Bob’s passing.
Our Uncle Bob was generous and caring. It was evident that he loved his family, and especially the young children. I recall him giving me a stuffed teddy bear that was as tall as a person, which I cherished for many years. When John and I were married, he presented us with a framed special Toronto Star “John and Lynda Wedding Edition” front page article, written by Uncle Bob Star Staff Scandal Writer. John and I were thrilled to receive this, and we treasure it. We had a look at it again the other day, and it brought back such fond memories of our Uncle Bob. He enjoyed being with his family and always brought “life” to the party.
Our thoughts are with you and your family and may the love of your family and friends provide you with some comfort during this time of grief.
Love,
Lynda, John, Liam, and Sean

I was saddened to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. I have good memories of him from when I was a child; his visits were joyful and spirited. He was very supportive to all his family and was quick to help whenever there was a need. I will treasure my memories of time spent with him (especially the college semester he let me move into his condo). My thoughts are with the family during this time of loss and send everyone much love.

So sorry for your loss. Bob was a first class manager at the Star and so dedicated. He was one of those managers you really respected.

And from what I hear from Don and Jenn he was an amazing Dad.
